🐟 Aquaculture & Fish Farms

Precision oxygenation for high-density aquaculture β€” lower mortality, better FCR, faster growth.

Dissolved oxygen is the single most limiting factor in intensive aquaculture. OxyNano delivers it more efficiently, more uniformly, and with real-time precision than any conventional system.

The Challenge

What you're dealing with

⚠
DO crashes in high-density systems

In intensive tank and pond systems, dissolved oxygen depletion happens quickly β€” especially at night when photosynthesis stops. A DO crash can cause mass mortality within hours. Conventional monitoring is too slow and intervention too imprecise.

⚠
Feed conversion inefficiency

Fish at sub-optimal dissolved oxygen levels eat less, metabolise poorly, and convert feed to biomass inefficiently. FCR directly impacts profitability β€” even small improvements compound significantly over a production cycle.

⚠
Disease and pathogen load

High-density systems create ideal conditions for bacterial and viral pathogens. Chemical treatments (antibiotics, algicides, disinfectants) are increasingly restricted by export markets and regulatory bodies.

The Solution

How OxyNano fixes it

βœ“
Continuous uniform oxygenation

Nanobubbles remain suspended throughout the tank or pond at all depths, providing uniform dissolved oxygen exposure for all fish β€” not just those near the surface or aerator.

βœ“
Improved FCR and growth rates

Fish at optimal DO consume more feed, metabolise it more efficiently, and reach harvest weight faster. Multiple trials show measurable FCR improvement and accelerated growth cycles.

βœ“
Chemical-free pathogen control

Ozone nanobubbles oxidise bacteria, viruses, and parasites in the water column without the residue concerns that restrict conventional chemical treatments in export-market production.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

What species have you treated?
Nanobubble oxygenation has been validated for finfish (tilapia, sea bass, sea bream, salmon), shrimp, and shellfish. The physics of oxygen delivery are species-agnostic.
Can the system prevent DO crashes?
The continuous delivery of nanobubbles provides a buffer against DO depletion. Combined with real-time monitoring and automated alerts, the system dramatically reduces crash risk compared to conventional batch aeration.
Is ozone safe to use around fish?
Ozone is introduced at controlled concentrations that oxidise pathogens without harming fish. Ozone breaks down rapidly into oxygen and leaves no residue. Dosing is calibrated during the baseline assessment.
How does this interact with existing aeration systems?
The nanobubble system can operate alongside or replace existing aeration. In most cases, it supplements existing systems initially, with conventional aeration reduced as the nanobubble system takes over baseline DO maintenance.
